Summer Camp starts June 16!

During the summer we feel that kids should have lots of free time, using their
imaginations, and doing what they want. By providing a safe, creative space
to explore, we can let kids be kids. We also want them to have a place to play
with their siblings, friends or if they’re really young, their caregivers.
Campers choose what activities they want to do and spend as much time as
they want doing it. Campers get to decide! Imagine a summer filled with art
and freedom!

We’re going to explore lots and lots of different kinds of art at Camp Crayon. We’ll experience art from around
the world, or different styles of art. We also want to experience “craft” as a lost form of art.
As always, campers will get to try a variety of our favorite mediums: Paints, pastels, inks, glues, paper, textiles,
beads and much more.
We’ll have different art project stations each day. Campers can choose to do 1 project each day or all of them.
We’ll also have art demonstrations, music, stories, toys, and games to play.

Who: Anyone and Everyone. Drop offs allowed for entering Fall ‘08 Kindergarteners and older. Adult
with child only for younger kids. Call 415-831-0693 and leave a message with your name, phone
number, and desired dates to reserve a spot. Reservations will be held each day until 1:15pm, and
then drop-ins will be excepted until we have a maximum of 20 campers per day. You can call the day
of to check availability.
What: Purple Crayon’s Camp Crayon. Lots of art and play! (No lunch but, nutritious snacks are on
hand.)
When: Mon – Fri. June 16th till August 22nd (closed July 4th). Camp hours: 1pm – 6pm

Why: So we can all have a fun, sane, carefree summer.
How: “Pay as you play”. Come with your child or drop off whenever you want and pay as you go. No
pre-payment, no commitments. $10 per hour, $45 per day, or $200 for a prepaid 5 day punch card
(you can use it for one camper any five days, or any five campers on one day, or any combination in
between) . Camper and billing information will be completed during camp.
